Vernel J. Lambert, 91, of Lehigh Acres, FL died on June 16, 2012 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. She was born on April 20, 1921 in Murray City, OH, a daughter of William Edgar and Addie (Jaynes) Bateman.

A resident of Lehigh Acres for the past 6 years, she previously lived in Murray City, OH. Vernel was a member of the Lehigh Acres Christian Church.

Wife of the late LaVoyd Lambert, she is survived by her son, Melvin R. Lambert of Lehigh Acres, FL, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and her sister, Adrienne North of Grove City, OH.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Lehigh Acres Christian Church, 50 Bell Blvd., Lehigh Acres, FL.
